Preparation depends on the area being examined. Some ultrasounds require a full bladder, while others require a specific day of the cycle or previous test results.

Can several ultrasounds be done on the same day?

Often yes, if this does not interfere with preparation for a specific examination. For example, pelvic ultrasound and a gynecologist consultation are often planned together.

When should ultrasound results be shown to a doctor immediately?

If there is pain, bleeding, suspicion of an acute condition, pregnancy with symptoms, or significant changes in the result, it is better not to postpone the consultation.
