Lymph Node Ultrasound
The lymphatic system reacts very quickly to any pathological changes in our body. Therefore, if there are any abnormalities in the lymph nodes, a thorough diagnostic assessment should be carried out, part of which involves an ultrasound scan of the lymph nodes. During the examination, the doctor assesses the size, contours, location and echogenicity of the lymph nodes. This is necessary to detect autoimmune conditions, tumours, structural changes or infections. The examination does not require any special preparation.
