Plasmolifting in gynecology is a successful and safe method of therapy

Plasmolifting is one of the innovative non-surgical means of restoring and rejuvenating the body offered by modern medicine. It is based on the fact that the patient is injected with his own blood plasma, enriched with platelets. Plasmolifting in gynecology is used as part of complex therapy to accelerate tissue regeneration and as an addition to anti-inflammatory therapy.

How it works ?

Many doctors believe that the human body has endless possibilities for healing with its own resources, and medicines should only help in this. Plasmolifting, due to the biologically active properties of platelets, helps the restoration of organs as a whole, unlike drugs that act on a specific cause or symptom of the disease and do not eliminate its consequences. The combination of the method with classical methods of treatment can significantly increase their effectiveness and shorten the duration of the therapeutic course.

How is plasma lifting done in gynecology?

Plasmolifting in gynecological practice is carried out according to the following scheme:

  • Clinical and laboratory examination is carried out: examination, examination for genital infections, general and biochemical blood tests, analysis for hepatitis and HIV.
  • A little venous blood is taken from the patient – 18–35 ml.
  • With the help of a centrifuge, autoplasma is obtained from the blood – plasma enriched with platelets. Platelets contain molecules that trigger tissue regeneration, and platelet plasma acquires biostimulating qualities. It also contains hormones, vitamins, proteins that provide cellular renewal.
  • The resulting preparation is injected into the mucous tissues of the cervix and vagina using microinjections. The procedure is painless and does not require anesthesia or recovery period. In special cases, you can use lidocaine spray.
  • As a result of plasmolifting, tissue repair processes are accelerated, blood flow and metabolism in cells are improved, the elasticity of intimate muscles increases, inflammatory processes stop, and the reproduction of pathogenic microorganisms slows down. The use of autoplasma allows not only to cure the disease, but also to avoid its recurrence due to the effect of immunocorrection.

Plasmolifting is a course procedure. As a rule, the beginning of the course falls on the first half of the menstrual cycle. On average, it takes from 3 to 5 procedures with a break of 7-10 days, depending on the patient’s state of health and the expected result. The effect begins to appear after the first injection. We advise you to start your sexual activity no earlier than a couple of weeks after the course of administration of platelet autoplasma.

When is plasma lifting recommended?

Plasmolifting is included in the complex treatment of various disorders of the reproductive system, but it can also be used as a separate method. The main reasons for the introduction of autoplasma are:

  • Inflammation of the pelvic organs (endocervitis, chronic salpingo-oophoritis, chronic endometritis, chronic colpitis);
  • Adhesion processes of the small pelvis;
  • Postpartum scars;
  • Dystrophic diseases (leukoplakia of the cervix, kraurosis of the vulva);
  • Cervical erosion;
  • Infertility;
  • Failed attempts at ART;
  • Anorgasmia;
  • Acne.

Plasmolifting is often recommended for women with complaints of discomfort in intimate life after childbirth or as a result of genetic reasons. Autoplasma injections make tissues more sensitive and increase muscle tone. For women after forty years, the problems of changing the production of hormones, dryness, and urinary incontinence become relevant. In this case, autoplasma helps to restore and renew tissues.

Benefits and contraindications of the procedure

For all its effectiveness, plasmolifting is one of the safest procedures in modern medicine. It excludes the possibility of allergic reactions and side effects, since the “medicine” is made from the patient’s own blood and does not contain foreign impurities (the exception is heparin, which protects the blood from clotting during the preparation of autoplasma). Autoplasma injections do not require hospitalization due to their atraumatic and painless nature.

Plasmolifting in gynecology has quite moderate contraindications for use:

  • pregnancy and lactation;
  • malignant tumors;
  • acute infections;
  • systemic blood diseases (hemophilia, thrombocytopenia and others);
  • intolerance to heparin;
  • predisposition to the formation of hypertrophic scars;
  • mental illness.

The possibility of combining plasma lifting with other methods of treatment allows you to increase the effectiveness of therapy, therefore, the specialists of our clinic recommend this procedure!
